Website Is Finally Complete!

I had been meaning to create this site for a long time, and it has taken much longer than expected to finally finish it.

MIWA began in Brazil, from nothing, with me finding my way step by step. Days often felt like taking one step forward and three steps back, and before I knew it, a year had already passed.

There were countless things that didn’t go well. Many days I felt discouraged by my inexperience or clumsiness, and I made plenty of mistakes along the way. The payment process was sometimes complicated, and the ordering method confusing—I know this caused inconvenience to many of you, and I am truly sorry.

Even so, there were people who looked at MIWA’s small steps and said, “How beautiful,” “How lovely,” or encouraged me with “I’m cheering for you.” I cannot express how much those words sustained me.

Thanks to all of you, I am finally able to open our online store. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for always being there.

From pieces that gently accompany daily life, to items that brighten life’s most special moments—
I hope you will feel and enjoy the traditional beauty, culture, and careful craftsmanship of Japan. By breathing new life into kimono that are no longer worn, we carefully create and deliver fashion and lifestyle goods that harmonize with modern living.

There is still much for me to learn, but my dream is for MIWA to become the brand people think of when they hear “kimono brand in Brazil.” Nothing would make me happier than if you continue to watch over and support us as we grow.
